Marina del Rey In-Home Newborn Session

There’s something so special about photographing newborns in the comfort of their own home.
As I transition to LA, I have transitioned to an in-home newborn photographer since I don’t have a studio here in LA (yet!). This recent newborn family session in Marina del Rey was the perfect example of why I love being an in-home newborn photographer — and why I’m so excited to continue serving Marina del Rey families.

When I arrived at their beautiful home in Marina del Rey, I was greeted by the family and their warmth, their eldest daughter singing along to her favorite DJ on YouTube, and meeting the star of the show — peacefully sleeping and unaware of the amazingness about to unfold. The natural light poured in through the windows, creating the dreamiest backdrop for documenting this new chapter in their lives.

As an in-home newborn photographer in Marina del Rey, my goal is to bring the studio feel you see in my images to you, without ever having to leave your home. No stress, no rushing, no need to pack a diaper bag. Just pure connection and gentle moments — feeding breaks, swaddled cuddles, big sibling giggles — all in the comfort of your home!

This sweet momma chose a neutral tone to match the aesthetic of her home. She also shared her love of flowers, so I packed neutral options along with one of my favorite floral backdrops to give her gallery some colorful variety. We ended up creating a gorgeous image of her eldest proudly holding her baby sister, who was nestled in one of my cozy props.
